We were told to go on a walk to write about it. I think that defeats the purpose of the walk. Walks should be made willingly, and walked for the sake of walking not for some outward purpose. We were all extremely tired, that too I think defeated the purpose of the walk. Walks should be made with a fresh, clear mind ready to live, not with an exhausted mind ready to die or the very least sleep. We shuffled along hearing and seeing absolutely nothing. Thinking and hoping for nothing other than our cool soft beds so far away at home. We did not enjoy it. That too defeats the purpose of the walk. Walks should be enjoyed otherwise they are not walk at all. We walked around the school campus. Someplace all of us at the very least vaguely disliked. That too, I believe defeated the purpose of the walk. Walks should be either made to explore new places, stopping briefly at interesting joints to observe and committing it to memory. To be visited when one is in doubt as to whether one really lived or merely existed. Or someplace you love and enjoy being in.Walks should be made in happiness or grief or even hatred or ecstasy not listless boredom. that too defeated the purpose of the walk.
We went on a walk to write about it. Only to realise it was not a walk at all
