So the last time I went to Delhi, we went to this bazaar somewhere in the complicated lanes of karol bagh, which was dedicated to the sale of electronic goods. So we went there about two minutes before closing time. And dragged on the bargaining for the next two hours.
Now, the thing is that the guy who was selling is this stuff was about 75-80 years old. Atleast he seemed like it. So while we were bargaining with him the rest of the shopkeepers had gathered outside.
With bottles and bottles of our dear desi liquor. They sat in a circle outside the store. And they were talking And eating the all the peanuts and the touchings on the side. But none of them touched the alcohol.
I mean fifty something men sat down to drink after a very long day of work. And none of them touched the alcohol till the old man left us and took a sip of a bottle.
They waited two hours.
